My visit to Fundidora ^_^
Fundidora is a public park located in monterrey nuevo leon
that was built on what used to be property of a smelting facility that closed in the 1980s or something of the sort, there are still some giant furnaces in there but theyre obviously not active anymore, theyre now meant to be places to visit and learn .....
I visited fundidora last week with my boyfriend, usually its a very calm a nice place to be in but that day we went to a funfair nearby but there were too many people and we had to wait in line for way too long, at the end we only got to ride on one game only , it wasnt very fun actually, we were hungry and tired, the ride was ok but we waited too long only for that
A few hours later it got dark and we were hungry so we walked out of the park and looked for a cheap place to have dinner, there was a restaurant relatively cheap called "rubio's cafe" we went and ate there,
since it wasnt expensive, we both ordered a hamburger and had such a nice time!!! we were feeling very happy, the service was good and the food was nice too, the place had some sort of vintage vibe to it, and it was nighttime so it added to the ambience,,,i didnt take any pictures of that i am very upset about that! but im glad i can still remember i hope i never forget that day, i enjoyed it way too much
It was a special moment for us, I really do suggest visiting Fundidora and most importantly, rubio's cafe...
